To ensure lasting performance and lifelong beauty of your hardwood floors, care needs to be taken to remove excessive moisture and high humidity levels from the environment prior to delivery of solid hardwood flooring and wood paneling. Solid hardwood flooring is not recommended for basements or below-grade applications.

Upon delivery, in dry climates, your hardwood flooring and wood paneling needs to acclimate 3–7 days to its new environment prior to installation. In wetter climates, it could take from 2–4 weeks to properly acclimate hardwood flooring to its new home.

Cleaning Tips

• Keep door mats/rugs clean.
• Keep grit off hardwood floors by dust mopping or vacuuming regularly.
• Wipe up spills promptly. Excessive water can result in damage to your hardwood floors.
• To wash, use 1 cup white vinegar to 1 gallon of water. Wet mop or rag, wringing nearly dry, then proceed to clean hardwood floors.
