APPEARANCE/COLOR: The heartwood ranges from a light pinkish-red to a reddish-brown color. The sapwood can be light brown to pale yellowish tone. Dark streaks are common. Boards can vary greatly in grain and color.
CLEAR GRADING RULES: Natural heartwood color variations and a small amount of sapwood, along with some allowable natural wood characters. Will admit the following: Occasional pin knots (1/4’’ in diameter), small burls, streaks, gum pockets.
